Meet Your Instructors

Harsh Moolani, MD, MPH

During high school, I had the opportunity to do research and I have been benefiting from it ever since. By the time I graduated high school, I had 13 publications and presentations and this helped me get into Washington University in St. Louis (WashU).

At WashU, I was selected as a Rhodes Finalist and started a nonprofit that went on to receive a $495K grant from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

I am a current NYU Neurology Resident focused on helping other high school students get ahead by sharing the secrets I have learned over the last 11 years conducting research.

Here is a photo from when the University of Miami invited me to meet with US Surgeon General (Dr. Vivek Murthy).

Christian Ramsoomair, MD-PhD Student

I started research in college and my only regret is that I didn't start sooner. Before starting my MD-PhD, I worked in research labs both at Vanderbilt and MIT.

As a MD-PhD student, I have received a grant from the most competitive branch of the NIH, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) - with my research proposal being in the top 91 percentile of all MD-PhD applicants in the United States.

As a 4th year MD-PhD student at the University of Miami, I am studying role of gene therapies in glioblastoma and plan to become a neurosurgeon.
